PlantUrn is a biodegradable pet memorial urn designed to hold your pet’s cremains and support the growth of a tree or plant in their memory.

PlantUrn Signature

Planturn Signature series comes in a standard diameter of +/- 6” and heights from +/- 4” to +/- 6” to accommodate cremains of pets who had living weight from 6 to 100 pound. Larger sizes are coming soon.
PlantUrn bottom plates (Drawing - Parts VII and IX) remain in the soil after an inground burial or in the water after a water burial. These parts are made from an organic polymer known as PHA (polyhydroxyalkanoates). PHA’s are a class of biodegradable and compostable bioplastics produced by microorganisms through bacterial fermentation of organic materials.
PlantUrn’s ring walls (Drawing - Parts V. and VI.) form the compartment for a pet’s cremains. They are made from cardboard tube sections made of wood pulp and fully biodegradable binding agents. The exterior ring wall is covered with a PHA shell.
PlantUrn top plate, cap, and disc (Drawing - Parts I through IV) are removed from the urn prior to burial and discarded. In the PlantUrn “Keepsake” series, these components can be customized as mementos of your pet’s life at an additional cost.
