Includes the same engraved cherry hardwood Rim and PLA Cap as the Keepsake Model 2. The Pet Profile Cap Insert is milled from hardwood and softwood veneers.

“Keepsakes” are PlantUrns that combine our standard plantable lower components with customized top components that can include pet information you provide. The top components are kept by you as mementos of your pet’s life after the burial process is complete.

PlantUrn Signature series comes in standard diameters of 6” to 8” and heights from 1.5” to +/- 6” to accommodate cremains of pets with a living weight of 6 to 240 pounds.

PlantUrn “Plantable” components form the compartment for your pet’s cremains (Drawing - Parts V and VI). These components, which remain in the soil or water after burial, are made from organic polymers known as PHA’s (polyhydroxyalkanoates). PHA’s are a class of biodegradable and compostable bioplastics produced by microorganisms through bacterial fermentation of organic materials.

PlantUrn top plate, cap, and cup (Drawing - Parts I through IV) are removed from the urn prior to burial. In the PlantUrn “Keepsake” series, these components can be customized as mementos of your pet’s life at an additional cost.
